Industrial strategy to increase production capacity at Prinoth​

Prinoth expected to double its vehicle production within 3 years. Their team called on Progima to evaluate the current factory’s potential and analyze all the scenarios that would increase production from 550 to 1000 vehicles per year.

Our intervention

The analysis by Progima experts made it possible to review workstations, materials supply, number of employees required and their tasks. This approach concluded that a single large assembly line would be more efficient and flexible than the previous two-line method. Ultimately, expanding the factory by 56,000 square feet was determined to ensure proper functioning of the new manufacturing process. With this new industrial strategy, Prinoth will be able to produce at least twice as many vehicles annually and achieve their commercial strategy objectives for the coming years.
