Our intervention

The Progima team was tasked with developing a new industrial and logistics strategy to increase output by optimizing current manufacturing layout, reducing lean waste, and improving material flow. The layouts of the fabrication, assembly, and warehouse floor spaces were optimized to support the integration of new workstations, allowing PDG to maximize resource utilization and prepare for future growth. The PDG team is thrilled to put the recommended plan into action to help them reach their objectives.

About PDG Mobility

PDG Mobility was founded in Vancouver, Canada in 1995 with the mission to design and manufacture custom wheelchairs for users whose needs were not met by existing devices. Their comprehensive selection of unique chairs and their ability to customize any product facilitate a perfect fit every time, no matter how basic or complex the requirements are.

“Progima's experienced team assisted us in making strategic decisions about the future of our manufacturing facility in Vancouver, BC. Their thorough analysis revealed both constrains and opportunities, and their well-defined methodology and new plant layout positioned us for success.”
